The Talent Acquisition Specialist coordinates company wide recruitment and staffing needs. This role reports to the HR Manager and works with employees and company executives to ensure staffing goals are achieved.

Essential Functions:

• Develops recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.
• Meets with managers to develop specific recruiting plans.
• Maintains records on recruiting activities as required
• Assists with the ATS, i.e., reviews candidate & JSE applications daily
• Develops and maintains professional relationships with college, university, and community college placement offices as a source to generate qualified candidates.
• Maintain recruiting for the Cooperative Education (Co-op) program.
• Assists in administration of Co-Op program
• Coordinates the efforts of employment agencies and search firms, including negotiating and controlling employment-related fees.
• Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing.
• Coordinates interview scheduling and maintenace of interviewing records
• Develops and conducts training programs for managers.
• Researches, analyzes, prepares, and presents hiring and statistics.
• Supports passive candidate searching initiatives
• Regularly partners with Marketing to promote recruiting social media posts and monitors JSE Career page for updates

Knowledge:

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Familiarity of ATS systems (preferably ClearCompany).
• Familiarity of various job board platforms (preferably LinkedIn Recruiter).
• Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
