Job Duties:

• Manage daily operations of Green Building and Energy Modeling groups on Sustainability team
• Develops and coordinates training for team members
• Review fee proposals
• Work with clients to achieve their high-performance design and sustainable project goals
• Assist owner/developer, design team and construction team members to set design goals and expectations
• Maintain project records, developing meeting agendas and project goals
• Assembles project data provided by groups for issuance, coordinating signatures with applicable certified personnel
• Analyze, review, and/or consult on project documentation of building and energy-related components including envelope, HVAC, lighting, hot water and other powered systems found in architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing drawings and specifications
• Quality Assurance, including program testing, proofreading reports, documentation, and online course content
• May perform code research for projects

Desired Knowledge and Skills:

• Must be able to become certified in a variety of code and above-code certifications, including (but not limited to) the National Green Building Standard Green Verifier and LEED AP with Specialty.
• Experience with green building practices, codes, standards and rating systems including but not limited to IECC, LEED, NGBS, AEGB, ENERGY STAR, Calgreen, and construction specifications
• Knowledge of construction of buildings and above-code building programs preferred
• Knowledge of ENERGY STAR Portfolio Manager
• Knowledge of software to include: Design Builder, Comcheck, Rescheck, EnergyPro, Wrightsoft, and Energy Gauge
